The Steel Valley Hardhats is a newly formed semi-pro minor league football team in Youngstown, Ohio. Under the new ownership and direction of Mark A. Greene. Coach Greene is bringing to the league 15 years of coaching experience at all levels of the game. His staff is dedicated to the success of the newly formed organization and their dedication to creating a family oriented atmosphere that is fun and exciting for people of all ages.
This upcoming 2006 season the Hardhats will play as part of The Ohio Valley Football League, which was established in 1933 with 12 teams, and today totaling 45 teams or more and is steadily growing fast in competition. All semi- pro football teams are for young men that has recently graduated from high school or college, that still have the dreams of playing football at a high skill level in the sport of American Rules Football. We ask that you welcome us not just in your community but also in your hearts.
